HS3
HS3 is a Home Solution System for usage management of Lighting and other electrical equipments. It also provides the convenience and energy saving purposes. The control of the Lighting can be done at

  • Local switch, Remote unit, Tablet and Smart phone.
  • Remote switch which is used together with Remote unit to turn on/off the Lighting remotely. It can be programmed to turn on/off in advance for one time of the day or everyday operation.
  • Smart switch which can be programmed to use as Group or Scene switch application.
  • When programmed through the Smart phone or Tablet, the Lighting equipments can be set to turn on/off at 4 events on each calendar day.

All Home Solution 3 components are internally inter-connected with RS-485 cable and using our own i-NET protocol. They can also be connected to WLAN system or the Internet so that the Lighting equipments can be controlled by Tablet or Smart phone.


System Overviews
PS-1212 Power supply

is a switching type Power supply in a DIN-rail box. It converts the electricity from 220 V to 12 Vdc and can supply up to 4 boxes of Xi-NET and Dio-04 components.

Rating
  • Input : 220 – 240 VAC 50/60 Hz.
  • Output : 12 Vdc 1 A

Xi-NET
Xi-NET is a Control module in a DIN-rial box which can control the electrical equipments up to 64 circuits (16 Dio-04 modules).
Communication between Dio-04 module and Smart switch is by i-NET bus which is user friendly and fast response.
There is an Ethernet port connected to LAN (wire or wi-fi) for the communication with Tablets & Smart phones.

Dio-04 Lighting module
Dio-04 is a module in a DIN-rail box connected to Xi-NET and send the command to Relays. Each module can

  • connect to 4 Relays.
  • connect to 4 Local switches which can be 1,2 or 3 way application.
  • connect to 1 panel of Remote switch.
  • interface with Tablet, Smart phone to turn on/off (4 events) on each calendar day.

Relay & Sockets
Relay is placed on DIN-rail socket which is connected to Output connectors of Lighting module. It is used for ON/OFF operation of the equipment. There is a LED showing the status and can manually override.

  • Coil : 12 Vdc, 43.2 mA
  • With position indicator & manual override

Switches
There are 3 types of switch used in HS3 system.
Local Switch
Local switch which is used to turn on/off Lighting. Intronics’ switch or the standard switch available in the market can be used. The switches are connected to Dio-04 module using signal wire. It can connect as 3 way switch.
Remote Switch
Remote switch is designed to receive the command from Remote unit. It is connected to Dio-04 module (1 Remote Switch panel per Dio-04 module). There is a blue LED light around the switch showing the status. With Remote unit, it can be programmed to turn on/off the lighting in advance.
Smart Switch
Smart switch has a blue LED light around the switch showing the status. It can also be programmed to be

  • Group switch which can turn on/off several lighting circuits in a group.
  • Scene switch which is used for Scene application. For example, it is programmed to control several lighting circuits with a predetermined dimming level of each circuit.
These switches have both square & rectangular shape.

Thermostat
It is used to control Air conditioner such as temperature. setting, fan speed, etc. You can also control Air conditioning unit by Tablet or Smart phone. The thermostat is equipped with Main and Display unit.

Remote Unit
Remote unit is used for more convenience to the user. It can remotely control lighting and Air conditioning unit.
Lighting controls
There is an infrared receiver built in Remote switch. Using Remote unit to

  • turn on/off each individual circuit.
  • turn on/off in advance each individual circuit for one time of the day or everyday operation.
Air conditioning unit.
With Intronics thermostat, Remote unit can

  • turn on/off Air conditioning unit.
  • set the temperature.
  • adjust the fan speed.
  • turn on/off Air conditioning unit in advance for today operation.
  • turn on/off sweep motor (optional).
  • set the operating mode (Cool, Dry, Fan, Heat, Auto)
  • put Air conditioning unit in the sleep mode for energy savings.
